Belesduna is my independent music project. The music moves between punk, industrial, electronic, drum & bass and breakbeat, often crossing between them.
The production ethic is fairly punk: make it up as I go, experiment until something works, and occasionally declare a track finished because something else has caught my attention.
I work in Ableton Live, combining guitars, virtual instruments and plenty of samples. Tracks usually develop in batches, collected into SoundCloud playlists so I can listen away from the studio, spot what needs changing and come back with fresh ideas. Some of those collections become albums. The Test Pressings section lets you hear them before I’ve decided they’re done.
